Privacy notice

Your information, and your spots.

Last updated October 2026.

What we collect on this site

When you join the waitlist we store the email address you give us, the hunter type you pick, the home state if you enter one, and the time you signed up. Our web server also keeps standard access logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and troubleshooting.

How we use it

We use your email only to tell you about HuntingPlan: early access, launch news and research invitations. We don't sell or rent it, and we don't share it with advertisers.

Unsubscribing and deletion

Every email includes a way to unsubscribe. To have your waitlist entry deleted, email huntingplan@sccarbone.com from the address you signed up with.

Hunting data, when the product launches

Plans, logs, GPS tracks and photos will be private by default. You will control who in your party can see them, and anything used in aggregate to improve the product will be anonymized and coarsened so it can't reveal anyone's spot.

Fonts

This site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads.
